Notice to shareholders
Dear Shareholder,
We hereby inform you of certain changes which will be made to the sub-funds mentioned below under KBC Bonds, with effect as of 18 August 2025 (the “Effective Date”).
KBC Bonds Emerging Europe, KBC Bonds Emerging Markets, KBC Bonds High Interest, KBC Bonds Inflation-Linked Bonds
Due to a change in the ‘KBC Group Policy on Blacklisted companies’ referred to in KBC Asset Management NV's ‘General exclusion policy for conventional and Responsible Investing funds’, the Prospectus will be updated, with effect as of the Effective Date, to remove the restriction for the aforementioned sub-funds to have exposure to nuclear weapons. This will allow the aforementioned sub-funds, which do not pursue responsible investing objectives, to invest in companies involved in nuclear weapons as long as they are based in a member state of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, Austria, Switzerland or Ireland. This change is motivated by the fact that nuclear deterrence is considered essential for a credible European defence strategy in today's world. For avoidance of any doubt, investments in controversial weapons will remain excluded for these sub-funds.
If you do not accept this change, you may request free redemption (subject to any applicable taxes) of your shares from 18 July 2025 to 17 August 2025 (before the end of the order reception period as stated in the prospectus) through the counters of the institutions providing the financial service.
On or around the Effective Date, the prospectus will be accordingly updated to reflect the changes set out above. The updated prospectus, key investor documents and the most recent financial reports will be available free of charge from the institutions providing the financial service, or at www.kbc.be/retail/en/legal-information/investment-legal-documents.html.
